This 4-day trek is perfect for adventurers who want a more relaxed pace to enjoy the beauty of Mount Rinjani. You’ll reach the summit (3,726m), explore the stunning Segara Anak Lake, and soak in the natural hot springs while camping under the stars.
Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to Sembalun (1,156m)
Pick-up from Lombok Airport, hotel, or harbor.
Drive to Sembalun Village, the starting point.
Meet your guide and porters for a briefing.
Overnight at a local guesthouse in Sembalun.
Day 2: Sembalun – Sembalun Crater Rim (2,639m)
06:00 AM – Breakfast at the guesthouse.
07:30 AM – Start trekking through savanna grasslands.
Lunch at Pos 2 (Tengengean, 1,500m).
Continue the trek to Sembalun Crater Rim (2,639m).
Set up camp with panoramic views of the summit.
Enjoy sunset views over Segara Anak Lake.
Dinner & overnight at the crater rim.
Day 3: Summit Attack – Segara Anak Lake & Hot Springs
02:30 AM – Early start for the summit push.
05:30 AM – Reach Mount Rinjani Summit (3,726m) for sunrise.
Enjoy breathtaking views of Lombok, Bali, Sumbawa, and the crater lake.
Descend back to the crater rim for breakfast.
Trek down to Segara Anak Lake (2,000m).
Relax in the natural hot springs.
Lunch by the lake.
Overnight camping near the lake.
Day 4: Lake – Senaru Crater Rim – Senaru Village
Trek up to Senaru Crater Rim (2,641m) for sunrise views.
Breakfast with views of the lake and Mount Rinjani.
Descend through the lush Senaru rainforest.
Pass by waterfalls and enjoy the tropical surroundings.
Reach Senaru Village (601m).
Transfer back to your hotel or Lombok Airport.
